This tab allows you to configure the behaviour for midpoint astrology.

General

Choose your favorite system of Midpoint astrology.

Ebertin - uses the ten major bodies including Node, Ascendant and MC.
Witte - uses in addition the eight transneptunian planets (Cupido .. Poseidon) and the point 0 Aries.

There are 2 options in th choice box

Always "=" - all midpoint events will be shown as equal.
Different symbols will be shown for each type of event. Please see the documentation of Midpoint astrology for details.

Configure if various options shall be remembered if you configure them in the child windows.

Orbis - whether the Orbis will be remembered.
Circle degrees - whether the number of circle degrees (360, 45, etc.) will be remembered.
Year length - whether the year length (365, 360, etc.) will be remembered.
Transit mode - whether the transit mode (Solar arc, Transit, Direction, etc.) will be remembered.

These options apply only to the Midpoint window.

Orbis - default orbis in minutes of arc.
Circle Degrees - default number of circle degrees (360, 45, etc.) in minutes of arc.

These options apply only to the transit window.

Orbis - default orbis in minutes of arc.

Year length - default year length in days.
Custom year length - Here you can configure your own year length (caution: this can damage your calculation results) .
Transit Mode - default transit mode (Solar arc, Transit, Direction, etc.).
